ALBUM Review: 'Blood Rush Déjà Vu' - Sunset Sons

Following their previous album 'Very Rarely Say Die', Sunset Sons have released second album 'Blood Rush Déjà Vu'. This time they have worked with producer Catherine Marks (Foals, Wolf Alice).

The first single to be taken from the album, the upbeat and energetic 'Heroes', has already been highlighted as Zane Lowe's World First on Beats 1. Speaking of 'Heroes', "it's nostalgic but also joyous" explains drummer Jed Laidlaw.

Opening track 'Superman' is a soaring track, but one which carries a warning ("You better run when the wolves start howling").

"Say Hi" is quite a cheerful tune, whereas "Problems" is passionate and equally as catchy.

'Blood Rush Déjà Vu' is a great album and I highly recommend you take a listen (below).
