Glamour Beauty Festival

Back in January I picked up a copy of the Glamour magazine and was really excited to hear about the Glamour Beauty Festival. So excited that I booked it straight away.

It took place on Saturday 11th March at the Saatchi Gallery in London. I went with a friend and the first thing we did was go to the Pixiwoos talk where Sam and Nic were giving makeovers whilst describing step by step what they were doing. Alessandra Steiner, Glamour Beauty Editor was also there hosting the talk. I found it interesting but sitting still for an hour was a little boring, I have to admit. Sam and Nic were lovely though.

Next it was to the Nails Inc stand for a complimentary express manicure. I say express but there was an hour long wait! It was definitely worth it because my nails looked fabulous after, if I do say so myself! Hehe.

I also picked up my free goodie bag worth £190 and subscribed to glamour magazine for only £9. The subscription came with a free mug and makeup bag which was super cute. I’m planning to do a separate blog post about the best bits from the goodie bag cos there’s just too many things to talk about in one go.

I went to the Pixi stall for a lovely facial. My friend recommended it to me and their products were so good. I’m really tempted to pick up the Pixi cleansing balm, as well as their oxygen face mask.

I also received some OGX shampoo and conditioner samples and some face mask samples from Fresh.

My friend and I then decided to take ourselves to Oxford Street for some shopping. We stopped at Dishoom for lunch. I’ve wanted to go there for so long so it was a delicious treat. Then we headed to Topshop, where I picked up a couple more Pokemon face masks and another lip mask.

At Selfridges, I purchased Charlotte Tilbury’s dry sheet mask. I’ve been seeing a lot about it on her snapchat with loads of celebrities trying it out. It claims to give the effect of a salon facial. At £18 I think it’s quite pricey, but then again, CT is a luxury brand. I almost hope I don’t like it because of the price but I am looking forward to it. I will let you lovelies know how I get on with it, of course. (Edit: I wrote about it in my last blog post. Check it out here.)

At Superdrug in Bond St station I did a sneaky purchase of a Lottie London liquid lipstick in the shade Vibes (above), before heading to the coach station to head home after a lovely day out.

Did anybody else attend the Glamour Beauty Festival this year?

Thank you for reading, you gorgeous, gorgeous things, you! :D
